Primary Human Liver Cells

Our offerings of healthy and diseased hepatocytes and nonparenchymal cells provide the opportunity to tease out the functional crosstalk and interplay between cell populations within the hepatic system. The nonparenchymal cells of the liver (Liver Endothelial Cells, Kupffer Cells, and Stellate Cells) potentiate the cytokine and chemokine signaling responsible for MASH/MASLD disease progression. Furthermore, inclusion of multiple cell types in MASH/MASLD, and IBD models extends the pertinent biomarkers and phenotype of in vitro systems, allowing for elongated time-course studies for mechanistic, metabolic, toxicity, and drug discovery purposes.
