Additional information
Mosaic Cell Sciences' Healthy and Diseased Kupffer Cells (KCs) allow for the investigation of the resident liver macrophage function beyond providing innate immunity against xenobiotics from the gastrointestinal system. These phagocytic cells recognize pathogen-associated molecule patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated molecule patterns (DAMPs) from foreign substance/damaged cells, clear excessive microbiota buildup in the gut, phagocytose spent erythrocytes, and recruit neutrophils into the Liver Sinusoid during inflammation. Our MASH/MASLD Kupffer Cell offerings allow for the interrogation of the complex biological mechanisms of the hepatic system in pathologic models for the assessment of toxicity and drug screening research and discovery programs. Learn more about our nonparenchymal cell offerings by downloading our brochure.
